I believe it’s a Lasco brand crank. An inexpensive brand from China/Taiwan? From what I could find it was ok if you didn’t want to spend the money for more “name” brands.

It’s not even forged, just casted alu and imitates CNC finish. Cheap thing.

I’ve had bad luck with square tapered axle interfaces too, strips softer cheap alloy really easily
