Hey fellow gravel cyclists!
I’ve developed an app called Trailblaze that routes you through trails and smaller roads, making your rides safer and more enjoyable.
I've found that using other apps, I would always end up pedalling on the side of a busy high speed road. I wanted to create a solution that prioritizes cyclist-friendly paths, ensuring a more pleasant and relaxing ride.
Unique Features:
- Bike-centric routing (trails, unpaved roads, smaller roads)
- Slider to choose between a more direct route or one with more trails
- Set an area to avoid – useful if flooded or a bridge is closed
More Features:
- Round trip routing – distance around an origin
- Filter for nearby parks
- Export routes to GPX
- Save routes to account for offline access
- Preview details along route (elevation, surface, road class)
Right now the round trip mode might need a few shuffles to get something useful but I'm working on making it more consistent. Turn-by-turn navigation is also something I'd want to add in the future.
I would appreciate your feedback and any features that you think would be cool!

Can’t download in the UK on iOS.
How is this different from bikerouter.de with a minimize traffic profile?
How do I get it into my phone?
Very buggy on Mac. I can’t set my desired route for more than 2 miles before it freezes up and I have to back out to the map screen.
