on my commuter bike i use a really basic one i got from my bike shop which is literally just like a silicon rubber thing that straps onto my stem and wraps around my phone. it was like $10 and my phone has never slipped off

I use a handleband for the times I want my phone on the bar. Most of the time it’s in my bag, though.

Peak Design hasn’t been mentioned yet. Easier to just snap your phone in than Quad Lock. The cases are a little bit less robust than Quad Lock but they’re also a little more stylish. I use Quad Lock but have friends with Peak Design. Both are valid choices, just personal preference. Neither uses scotch tape.

What am I looking at

Anything. Anything commercially available will be better than that!
