  1. Personal preference is using the zlite on top of a roll mat, stored by rolling the roll mat around the zlite. Very comfy, not that much extra weight, personally don’t care if it’s bulky. Also extends the life of the zlite if you’re camping out in the open on pleasant nights.

Having used a bivy, I’d pair it with a lightweight tarp. Granted mine wasn’t all that waterproof so the tarp was more of a necessity, but it is nice to have a place to hang out underneath and to keep your other gear dry.

From 1 flimsy bottle cage to 2 strong cages.

    Excellent weight distribution.

You could get a lower center of gravity for your front load if you utilize the mid-fork boss and something like a Tubus Tara Lowrider pannier rack.

  3. Hahha, I mis-saw and thought the bench was an even bigger mattress, and it was a troll from going without any mattress, to taking a king-size bed one. And I thought all comments were in on this. If only it was true, it would have been the funniest.

  4. Might be a good idea to learn to ID poison ivy. Pretty sure that pole your bike is leaning on in the first pic is covered in it
