Montana has been HOT, but the people are cordial, generous, and hospitable. My experience with Glacier Cycles in Whitefish was that the owner was happy to sell me a new BB for my bike but had a ‘no shop tools loaned out’ policy preventing me from installing said BB in their parking lot. The Garage in Helena has been awesome to deal with for the much needed repairs/maintenance.

in glaciers defense (disclaimer- i consider them friends) this time of year they are more than swamped and they have had issues in not getting tools back- or something a customer starts ends up something they have to deal with. I do know that for bike tourists they will do while you wait repairs many times and for a BB install it probably would not have cost much as it’s so simple.
Fyi- it’s an employee owned shop
