Unfortunately, I can't tell you the year of manufacture. I got the bike from a friend last year. I had to replace a lot of parts to get it ready to ride again. Fortunately, I also got some good quality used original parts. You can see the result in the pictures. I hope you like it as much as I do, even if I would have done some things differently afterwards.
But it's definitely a lot of fun to ride.

Looks great! Classic bike with a great group. Is your derailleur hanger slightly bent inboard?

A name I need to read twice to get it right usually means business here

  3. Might be a stupid question but how did you get it to stand like that for the photo? I don’t see a stand.

Yes looks fantastic. Wouldn’t worry too much about the front qr lever. Would have improved the aesthetics. But if you find the gears are great in the small ring n go to rubbish in the big ring or vice versa, get your derailleur hanger alignement done. Enjoy the ride. 👍🏻

I seem to remember these coming out and it’s later than you might imagine. 1999 or 2000, somewhere around there. They were deliberately retro in design but the replaceable derailleur hanger and threadless headset is a giveaway that this isn’t an actual classic.
