Hey fellow riders,
I'm looking for an attractive, simple & silver front rack that is compatible with my fork, there are no mounting points. I'm thinking of putting a wald half basket on it.
It seems my only mounting options are the fork clamps or on the axle, but it's a dropout so idk how it would work.
In terms of weight, I want to carry my laptop bag or a few groceries, I don't think I would exceed 15lbs.
What I've found:
The sim works obento, seems super expensive for what it is, probably worth more than my frame. But it would absolutely work and it's what I'm looking for, although the weight limit is pretty low but adequate.
The nitto m-18, has the fork clamps, but the weight limit is like nothing.
Anyone have any recos?
Can I get those fork clamps and make it work with another rack?

You can use a Wald basket with their included support struts without needing an additional rack
If you don’t want to use Wald struts, Public makes a silver porteur-style rack with a low weight limit
