Follow up question, when I upped the chainring I had to get a longer chain. It came with a real nice chain, KMC X11 Eco Protect. Why do you think it had an 11 speed chain on it from the factory? I am going to get the same chain, but for the meantime I just put a basic Sram single speed chain on it. It is noticeably louder and doesn’t seem to seat on the chainring as well as the KMC? Any thoughts on this?

I’m curious about a bike that’s built as a single speed but without sliding dropouts. How do you adjust for different cog/chainring sizes?
