I usually post photos of my setups in pristine condition. For Unbound XL however, I decided to do the opposite and show the aftermath of Kansas peanut butter mud. There was a 5-ish kilometer long section where we had to walk and carry our bikes, because the mud would stick immediately even if you tried to push your bike. I had to free my wheels and drivetrain from clay like mud a number of times, but made it through the entire 560 km without a single mechanical or flat. That part really surprised me because the terrain was quite rough this year and almost nobody else seemed to opt for Continental Terra Speeds. Well, I like them.
