What do the experts say? I had my first chain for 4000km and replaced it when it was 1.0 on the chain wear gauge, now I have driven it for 1500km and it is already at .75 again. I am not sure whether to change the chain ring and cassette or not. Do you think it looks worn or not? Thanks for the advice!!

Front chainring still has some life. You’ll know when it’s time to replace if the chain “sticks” while pedaling causing a ticking sound or even skipping up front. The cassette could probably use a change. The rule of 2-3 chains per cassette is pretty loose it depends on riding conditions, cross chaining, lack of cleaning, etc.
