Im switching to clips for the first time. I have new Union SP5600 pedals and slightly only indoor used Northway Blaze Plus shoes with Shimano sm-sh51 cleats. Is little movement inside pedal while clipped in okay? It feels like maybe 1mm to every direction.. Clip in clip out feels okay and tight. I was wondering is it okay or does it affect my ride in any negative way?

No, they’re designed to have a bit of movement so your knees don’t get fucked.
It’s called float. 4 degrees on the SH-51 cleats to be exact.
