Today I got a pinch flat at my last ride in the bike park, came home and took off the tube (yeah I know, shame on me BUT first flat in 2 years with 2 to 3 rides per week). I just noticed this on my rim, is this a normal thing ? Seems like the junction of the rim is not perfect, like a crack, first time I notice this. Should I be worried for the integrity of my rear wheel ?

It’s normal *but* can you move it around? Are your spokes still nice and tight? You said tube, do mean inner tube or tyre?
Normal, that’s the joint where the two ends of the rim were joined. Many rims are just pinned at the jointÂ
