Looking for my first gravel bike. The seller of this bike has done many upgrades listed below but I can’t discern quality of the parts and whether there is truly much value added. Another factor would be whether these modifications negatively impact future serviceability. Asking price is $850.

$650 all day if it’s in great condition, which it’s not. It looks well ridden and loved, making near future maintenance garenteed. It wasn’t a high end bike 5 years ago, certainly not one now. But it will serve you well and be a very good bike as it was to the seller, just seems expensive to me, and wouldnt pay over $550.
Also consider you can buy a new one for $999, making this 5 year bike only 200 cheaper after tax,meaning it practically didn’t depreciate.

$850? Even if it was mint, that is asking too much. I would offer $450 for that bike. It is 5 years old and, unfortunately, upgrades don’t really translate in used bikes. To give you perspective, that is cost of the brand new entry level version of this bike.
