My next door neighbor has this beautiful vintage 1968 Colnago Super single-speed track bike with all Italian components. He bought it in 1988 and hasn’t rode it in a while, but it’s in excellent condition. I want to restore it for him so he can proudly hang it on his wall. Look at the forks!

I dunno about using it for Wall art. If I ever got my hands on a bike like that I’d wanna make sure every other cyclist in town saw me riding it.
“Hey did you happen to notice the vintage Colnago I’m on?”
“Did I mention that this is a Colnago? See the little Spade on the head tube?”
“I’m truly sorry you crashed and are in the ICU right now so I brought my Colnago over for you to look at thought it might make you feel better!”
“Yeah, that’s a really nice Chinese carbon whatever you got there but waddya think of my Colnago!”
I wouldn’t get all puffed up about it or anything… /s
it’s a pity to just hang it on the wall, send it to me if nobody’s riding it. Bike isn’t happy if it isn’t ridden.
It doesn’t look like it needs a restoration. A good clean and a new handlebar strap would do.
