Fresh off someone’s mom’s garage ceiling. Came with some doohickey attached & some funny brakes thing I’ve not messed with before.
Anyone know if:

That back brake can be replaced with something else? Lol.

What size tires can I fit on these rims? 😀

That brake thing is so the cable can pull from the bottom since the top tube is lower. I had a step through Trek and had no problem putting a normal V brake kit front and rear with little hassle.

You can probably fit 700 x 42’s comfortably.
You could replace those brakes with V-brakes, but you’d have to replace your brake levers too.
I have a 720 step through frame with similar style logo, but it’s missing the stamped “Trek” on the seat stays. Do you know what year that is? Yours looks like it’s missing the little pully for the brake. Not too hard to find replacements on eBay.
