Taking my Brother on his Dream Trip to Lake Konstanz, Germany 🇩🇪 (solo backpack with me!!)

eeeep hello friends!! welcome to the 3rd ep of my solo backpacking germany adventures. 🦋 this was our first ever SIBLING holiday and it turned out to be as chaotic, unhinged and wholesome as I dreamed. We went to Lake Konstanz for 3 nights and rented bikes, rowed on the lake in true the-notebook-fashion and practised our german! hello to show guys I think there is no better indicator that you’re an adult than when you’re going on your first sibling holiday welcome to the third episode of my backpacking Germany Vlogs let’s go to Lake [Music] Constance I see [Music] I’ve just come out the train second I’m in [Music] a I hate bus Tim tables one of these places is where I need to go okay I’ve successfully worked out which one I need to be at of the night okay I’m off the bus I’m about a 10-minute walk away I can hear the birds it’s so peaceful I’m so excited guys you know when you come to a place and you just instantly feel at peace that is how this Airbnb feels it’s a converted attic of their house down below and the host just came and showed me around and they have two cute little kids they’re just so friendly and warm look at this swing oh my goodness imagine sitting here and just reading a book and romanticizing one’s life this is the dream this is this is the dream life why am I in London why am I in a big city I just want to settle down in nature somewhere right now and just be able to see a lake but you know even when my mind is clear it will never be cleared of please please please don’t prove I’m right gosh Sabrina carpenter knows how to put song in one’s head first it was a month of singing espresso so I will just be in this quiet peaceful Land by Lake singing Sabrina Carpenter songs but I can do that because it’s my place to stay I’m so happy and my brother gets here in 40 minutes I’m so happy to see him I haven’t seen him in a while sibling holiday hello hello sester hello my oh my God so here feel [Music] feel shower hello mind is here I found your German T you’re doomed we’re not getting very far place is incredible so amazing oh my god did you feel like I’m on holiday at this what the hell I know I feel like this would be like exactly how you would design a place come and relax W oh wow this is just what you need after a long journey oh god oh could you push me no oh this is this is amazing I I think I could sleep here all right all that me on that I feel like I’m I’m in a dream right now doesn’t feel real in the bedroom too so cute but you have to share a bed with me oh that’s not very cute we’ even got our own blankets they know cuz they know you’d be fighting over it oh and it’s got a fan I’m your fan we back together the cringes has begun I thought imagine okay imagine imagine imagine in the morning us making breakfast and sitting on that balcony watching the sunrise oh my God this is Paradise this is actually unreal it is but we for 3 days that is amazing I’d happily make breakfast now either just just experience it’s so beautiful right I like quality and then look you can go that’s so adorable what what was that it’s a little robot I love it it’s just so small like no one gets intimidated by it and it’s so easy to put in any bag and you can also make it track faces this is mad I know hello okay so we’re going on our first Adventure we are going to a restaurant across the lake by a boat me by a ferry if we can find one and and then go to a nepes restaurant and then because we are adults crazy are we I don’t know if we are but it doesn’t feel like we are whenever we’re together I feel like 5 years old we’re going to go to a supermarket and get our grocery sorted so that maybe we can cook we can do our breakfast he speak for yourself can cook for me wait on me handed foot I can only do hello fresh not sponsored well as long as you’re making me like fresh I’m happy oh hello we’re awful and then we’re going to have a chill and lovely night in maybe watch a film maybe do a tarot card reading maybe have ever a gossip fantastic there’s no one I love to gossip within this world more than F Gossip Girl it’s so beautiful so near it’s actually in I was literally like a 2-minute walk yeah but was like oh so there’s a lake around here F no way that is so beautiful I want to [Music] touch how is it so nice is it cold it’s not that cold we have to go swimming swimming right now so vast it’s insane definitely going to R though because ring out AB so it’s like this is from right here now to R so what is it so in [Music] sound Dutch but yes I am Dutch only one of us was raised Dutch yeah and it’s not the one with a Dutch name yeah um I mean Nath England England this is Fanta M yeah Gish yeah love that word fish just phanto col is there I don’t think so literally like literally just them mixed together I think so like literally the brands together have you ever tried like mixing them actually yeah I don’t know I don’t know it’s actually yeah here pizzas ABA um um yeah n that edica broken push theola where’s the entrance that it’s giving chaotic Vibes is eyes it still open I have no idea is it open oh let’s go I was thinking it was weird that it said yeah was like but what super fck it has a one for food and one for drink let’s go good secured we just witness sucks to be the people who came CL minutt later they’re just behind yeah we got we were the last people last people on the check out literally and we just watched them tell these guys that the checkout is now closed God if we had not sprinted we would not have gotten breakfast for tomorrow yay it’s a win okay only taking double here B mus we gain for the the bus also that was your good thinking I was enjoying the dinner too much you realized last minute do you know what time just flies with you flies when you’re having fun okay um ruining a nice shot sunflowers I mean what a Scenic walk home right got the goodies GZA and look at the strawberries growing oh it’s very nice you look you’re inhaling and enjoying [Music] wow it’s time for witchy big sister [Music] moment getting lunch ready pack lunch for the day it’s going to taste amazing yes morning guys I L have not filmed anything this morning but it’s just been so calm and and dreamy we’re listening to German music right now we both did a little bit of work we had breakfast on the balcony and now our goal is to rent bikes and hopefully do some kind of water sport like kaying or paddle boarding or swimming I just can’t wait the sun is shining it’s like 30° it’s going to be so lovely we’ve just Sun creamed up excited fol oh I’m buzzing it’s Absolut beautiful day right I can’t wait no is very exciting stuff today look at our bikes actually smash that we actually honestly the German was so impressed of us guys we smashed that I I should have filmed it yeah we should have filmed that interaction that that was was very good we negoti no no one’s going to believe us no like our was so smooth we just we bounced up of each other so well like everything from when to return it tomorrow we finished each other’s sentences it was Niche vocabulary we just knew it like Alice is an ID that he needs an Alice and I’m like oh my God I know what Al viice is there were just so many things it just felt so good to know yeah we like we knew how much it would cost sear like he said the amount we were like communicated how many days you need it and he’s like oh do you live in the area we’re like yes then he can get us a discount and we also knew the number amount that he said like just everything smooth smooth smooth smooth honestly impressive I’m impressed J it’s not an a level in German but comes through at this at this rate you could do [Music] one we need to put some music in yes music time hello so close want our [Music] sandwiches guys it’s giving Zanes it’s giving the notebook it’s giving I’m on a honeymoon honestly Zan andant and andan where should I take you yeah I pull you in okay I’m going to go in the water we’re going to do it we’ve kind of chosen the option that is the hardest to get back on the boat so there is a high chance that we could capsize the boat I’m going to try not to do yeah please don’t do so yeah it was so funny the guy was like oh guys are really sportive so you’ll be fine like you can get back on the boat you just hoist yourself so I’m glad that he thinks that we’re fit and sporty yeah ready yep go for it that was actually smooth wow chill should I just also go in right now Jesus that was pretty smooth that was pretty smooth actually wait to crash my ear smooth woo oh that’s actually incredible amazing you have to come in yeah okay I [Music] will how beautiful is it that’s so pretty that’s some casual magic that is casual magic we were cycling and then we were like we just have to stop we we’ve been so blessed by the weather we really have like literally I feel like this cycle Journey has just been us counting our blessings right we we’re so grateful for this we’re so grateful to have a basket on our bik we’re still going we’re still going still more blessings to count so special at everything today has been perfect 11 out of 10 days 100% 100% it’s going to be hard to talk tomorrow yeah yeah feel so lucky I’m dripping what the hell it was only 2 minutes as well how what wow the heavens really opened [Music] the next day was also cloudy and rainy so we just took it easy something I thought about this whole trip is how grateful I am for the relationship I have with my brother I’ve been thinking about how we don’t get to choose our siblings but we do get to choose if we want to be friends it is such a lucky thing indeed to have a human who knows your parents like you do who can relate to the world that you grow up in and who’s watched you evolve through so many different phases of life if you have a sibling I dare you to send them a little appreciation message or to schedule a catchup call because like all relationships it really takes work to go from siblings to friends and to stay there who knows maybe you’ll also go on a sibling trip to Constance one day thank you guys
