I like the parkour it’s really really nice TT uh it’s quite fast but also you need to be really powerful it’s not all about uh yeah being aerodynamic longer this part now who will be the favorites for tomorrow state Remco for sure well ifle is going to smash the time of Tarling he’s a world champion and uh he’s the one to look I will just give him the maximum tomorrow also in terms of GC it’s always a good thing to do in h time TR I mean you have to normally today is always doing quite good time trials so for sure he will be good tomorrow as well as uh as Remco uh I guess Remco will be the big favorite for tomorrow so uh all in today and uh hope hope we it stage win we will see it’s time for the first time trial of this tour 25.3 km between The Vineyards but who will be the toast of jev shamban today is a day when you should just sit down and enjoy the race the first rider in the time trial is underway the record holder of stage wins Mark Cavendish riding for aana of Kazakhstan Lenny martinz set an impressive early time but the 20-year-old debutant were soon dislodged by the TT Specialists Eve Lampard who won the opening time trial in Copenhagen two years ago to take yellow didn’t go all in but the four-time Australian Champion Luke derbridge soon found himself in the hot seat derbridge is going to go top of the leaderboard by 26 seconds and we say goodbye to Lenny Martinez durbridge wouldn’t be on top for long though because Stefan Biser was on a flyer the German Champion Neils poet was also going well and he would be able to provide precious tips for his team leader Pacha be a nice go for today I think uh shoots him really well there you have to push you have invested already quite a lot on the top of the climb and then you can recover a little bit in the in the yeah fast decent there and then the last 6 kilometers are just pushing to the Finish Line stage two winner Kevin vcan producing another superb performance to a Biser the Frenchman held off Stefan Kung who was hit by an early mechanical but the former hour record holder Victor camper Arts went quicker by just 7/10 of a second this is the moment where rogl now needs to shine he’s fifth overall in this race at 1 minute 14 seconds can RIT produce a sparkling time trial very good now try to touch with your visor try to touch your arms get in Arrow position get in Arrow position it’s all St search for the good and here’s uh the bit battle we’re starting to want can yo vinard come out on top of the time today Greco evapo in the white jersey as the best young Rider and he comes out of the start with the most furious Sprint this Rider needs to produce a very good time trial this afternoon because he’s up against it Remco aapo wants to win the start of the yellow Jersey the final Rider is underway 48 seconds now is the beating to this point of Remco evapo to Victor cards it quickly became clear that the Fantastic forward contest the stage win rogl vingard Evol and paga separated by 20 seconds before the climb with the world champion Evol looking Supreme Remco aapo is going to absolutely smash the time of vard by 23 seconds 47.4 km an hour this is the yellow Jersey of Tad paga what’s it going to be at this point he’s going to be slightly down on the time he’s going to have shipped a little bit more time but he’s still in yellow 10 seconds now the deficit patcha leans it into that turn goes to the right hand side of the rad on the Arrow skis as far as he can down this descent rogl has looked good all the way through this time trial RIT 17 seconds faster oh and a mechanical for Remco aapo and I think he may well have righted it he gets it back on and now he settles himself back in go on go on come on top of the leaderboard smashes RIT out of sight the yellow Jersey closing in on the finish line but it’s not going to be enough this afternoon Remco over theole wins his first ever stage of the tour to France but T patcha has sent out the message paga is supreme in the time trial he might be second but he holds on to the yellow Jersey television come on guys the screen the [Music] [Music] television so it was a close one but of course uh I just wanted to win today and that’s accomplished so uh very proud I enjoyed every meter of this uh this DT and then coming out with a win is is simply amazing so uh yeah super happy Evan aul completing the grand tour hat trick with a first stage win at his first tour to France and showing he could well be pacha’s biggest rival for yellow it was still an excellent performance from the race leader who remains on top by 33 seconds vingar and Rit are both over a minute back bam gar was able to take it pretty easy today the era train remains 38 points clear in the green jersey competition and so too was Janis abrahamson who is set to take the polka dot Jersey into the second week EV aol’s increased his lead in the youth classification from 25 seconds to a minute 43 of a Juana Uso and we finished by paying tribute to Raphael jinani the French cycling Legend who died today at the age of 99
