Less than 100 miles on the bike. Will bring it to the shop next week but in the meantime does anyone know what could be causing it? Sounds like it's coming from the left (removable) pedal or bottom bracket.

Try tightening the screws holding the metal edge on the pedal. Had a similar creak recently and that did the job.
Your feet are incorrectly placed on the pedals.
That’s the main problem.
