This weekend, I raced in the fourth event of the Italian Enduro Series. After navigating the bureaucratic registration process and getting our start kits, we discovered that Saturday training was shuttle-assisted, but we decided to pedal the whole way. The race organization provided excellent trail navigation, although we relied on prior exploration rather than the recommended Mowi Bike app. Our accommodation was great, though breakfast was just sugar. Race day was well-supported, with numerous feed zones making up for the heat. Pedaling through Italian towns was enjoyable but felt unfair since most riders used shuttles. An unexpected rule required us to repeat the rider announcements after stage three. The day ended with a hearty meal before heading home.

Thanks for sharing.
That’s a beautiful course. It’s interesting to see the level of organization and also all the rules. These are both a little different than here in the US, at least from my limited experience. I’ve also shown up unprepared with a shuttle, which puts you at a huge disadvantage, but I’m not really a competitive rider anyway, still all the extra pedalling hurts!
The food looked great!
One thing I didn’t understand, did you have to repeat certain stages after getting the back protection?
