When you land you need to compress/lower your body towards the middle/rear of the bike.

Right now you are landing and your body is standing up and pushing down towards the front above the bars. Pause your video before you fall and you’ll see.

Basically you want your body to go backwards while the bike goes backwards. Right now your body wants to go forward and your bike is going backwards

Get low and keep your arms rigid. Look to the horizon and focus on your where your momentum wants to take you, keep the bike in line with that direction.

Biggest thing holding you back right now is how far forwards your center of mass is. You want to get it hovering over the back wheel otherwise the handling will be too twitchy to wrangle the bike.

It can help to learn fakie on a very slight incline, you can 180 into it much slower and then the incline will keep you going while you focus on keeping the bike under you.

You’ve got commitment and the 180 down easy, fakie will come with time. Nice work g

  3. The more you get your weight back the less the bars will control your steering.

Yeah I agree with the other comments so far on leaning back further. If you think of your center of mass as the center of rotation the front wheel will be a lot more stable and less twitchy if it can „follow“ your mass during fakies rather than your mass „pushing“ your rear wheel ahead. The further back you are the more your front wheel will want to follow you.
