Look for chromo frame fork and bars. There’s plenty on marketplace and eBay. I buy old bikes all the time for under $100 and build it up to my liking for another $100. If you want to ride parks I suggest a newer frame with newer geo.

For my money diamondback stopped being a good company like 20 years ago.

Sunday makes great completes that you can probably find for a steal used because the market was flooded with them 10 or so years ago.

Cult is also a solid brand to look for.

And in my experience you’ll find better deals on Facebook marketplace without having to worry about shipping.

I wouldn’t go diamond back. Get on mercari and Facebook marketplace and maybe even eBay sometimes has deals but just look at the shipping prices with eBay complete bikes get ridiculous shipping fees most the time
I scored a fit for 80$ it was a 2010 fit but great condition all original
3 piece crank with a 48 spline sprocket it was nice and the lightest bike ever. I’d highly reccomend anything with at least a chromoly front triangle

I grabbed a fit complete to reenter BMX after a similar hiatus. Solid bikes. Sunday completes are also decent.

  5. Get on Fbmp and find a Complete WTP bike for around £100, make sure the model has a Cromoly fork and frame and your off to the races, will give you the opportunity to upgrade parts around it without need a frame or fork immediately and be able to give it some proper abuse.
WTP bikes generally come with half decent wheelsets (Salt+)

I am an old rider who has recently rekindled an old love. How are Haros?
