I would like to buy a mudguard that would not only save my back from mud but also keep my children’s view. I cannot find properly long one or with a mountable fin to fit my bike with 29″ / 2.6″ tires. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thanks!

Uhm… Just use a fender.

You need a full-coverage mudguard with an additional flap that covers the tyre right down near to the ground.
You may need to go down in tyre size to fit the mudguard, depending on the clearance on your frame.
