Hey guys,
I just received my Aeroad SLX cf 7 AXS.
Today I did my second ride with it and I absolutely love it.
But today I noticed something weird with the powermeter.
My wahoo bolt v2 shows the cadence, which comes from the powermeter, but also it shows 0 Watts. There is also the little arrow that is showing down
Before that I had a few disconnects problems.
Now it shows 430 watts avg. in Strava, I mean im a heavy rider but I’m sure I wont do 430 watts avg on a 40km ride, 30kmh avg.
So anyone had some similar issues?
Thanks!

I’ve only had problems twice with my Rival power meter doing what yours is doing. Both times pulling the battery out of the power meter and putting it back in solved the problems. Forgetting and repairing in the wahoo is another thing to try. Use the SRAM app to see if the power meter battery is fine and check for any firmware updates. I’ve had mine for 2 years and it’s worked perfectly except those 2 times I had to pull the battery.
If you have a pin spanner use that to turn the power meter battery tray, it’s really easy to ding up the plastic if you use vice grips like I did.

That arrow your is current number compared to average, so you are doing below your average watts for the ride. Your speed has an up arrow, you were currently doing above your average speed for the ride.
It’s actually quite easy to turn the PM battery tray with your thumb. It’s also worth knowing just in case, use a Energiser LITHIUM AAA battery, not alkaline otherwise it’ll show a low battery reading all the time.
