Hi everyone! I am looking for my first road bike. I have previously only had hybrids. I am biking up to 25 miles right now on it. We live in Florida so mostly flat and not a ton of turns. Will be riding mostly on paved trails. I am interested in doing an Ironman next year so want to start training and putting in more mileage but not interested in a tri bike at this time( since I’m rather new). I am 5’4” and was told at trek about a 50 should work so looking at 50-52. I don’t know a ton about bikes so appreciate any help. Wanted to stay around 1 grand but willing to go alittle higher if it’s worth it

If you’re doing an Ironman the only one of these I would consider is the 2016 trek. Unless you plan to buy another triathlon bike before the race then maybe the specialized would be a good starter.
Both of them are priced way too high though. And you’ll need new pedals.
