I did this once in a Sunday morning and got all mixed up at the top of Manhattan. Almost ended up on a bridge to the Bronx over on the East side, lol.
Getting around the UN was a bit of a PITA too.
Recommend nerves of steel for the way down the lower East side, some of the path is very narrow, with pedestrians.
Maybe that has changed?

I’ve done that ride a bunch of times back in the day. I don’t know if the path goes all the way round the edge now but you used to have to zig zag down streets from the top to the east river to stay as far east as possible.

Is the East River Greenway open now? Last I checked you can’t ride it above Chinatown.
