Love the video very motivational.
Looked a great ride but beyond me at the moment 😉 I’m still trying to decide on a hybrid but got it down to two now……….I think! Either a Whyte Stirling or Specialized Sirrus Elite. Was interesting to hear you mention working harder to keep up with the drop bar bikes. Don’t think a drop bar would be suitable for me because of a problem I have with my neck, hence the reason I’m opting for a hybrid. Thanks for sharing 👍

Hi Daz, I've watched quite a few cycling videos the last couple of weeks and I was delighted to see this one, as I participated in the ride and was visible in a few of the earlier clips. (The first time I've seen myself on youtube!) Leeds Mercury jersey, red with white stripes. IIRC it seemed pretty fast for the first 30 miles, I was on my own for a while to Settle and beyond, then hooked up with some other riders I knew at Kirkby Longsdale bridge and we kept together to the finish. Happy memories of a tough ride
