I hear a whistle when I push down on the left pedal.

I’ve had this Marin Fairfax 2 for like 2 weeks and ride pretty much every other day. Although I do notice when I’m not pedaling my left foot is extended and pushing against the left pedal as I rest with some pressure, idk if that had something to do with it.
