Wheel upgrade?

I have this exact bike and just upgraded the stock Boondocks to a set of Easton EC90 SL’s. Major, major, major improvement. Any investment in wheels is money incredibly well spent.

Edit: no notable loss in comfort, and for what it’s worth the hubs are significantly quieter than the stock Alex hubs.

I can’t tell what you’re on now other than you mentioning alloy….weight, internal width, depth, and hub spec would be a great start. Next, the questions that will actually allow someone to make a proper recommendation.

* What do you want to do with the bike? What are your goals? Are you a beginner and want something blingy? Are you slow and want to get fast? Are you fast and wanting to get faster?
* Will the new wheels be your workhorse? Are you looking for a 2nd wheelset for racing?
* How do you ride? How well do you maintain your stuff? Are you hard on gear? Do you want something easy to work on at home?
* Where do you live? Is it windy? Is it flat or hilly? How long are you riding? Are you 100% gravgrav or do you take it on the road sometimes? Do you hit occasional single track?
* What’s your budget?
