I'm planning a 400-500 mile trip through Italy later this year and will be taking my Trek Emonda ALR. Will be mostly tent camping so will need to pack accordingly. Does any have experience bikepacking with an Emonda? What bag setup did you use and gear did you carry? And how did the bike manage? Any help, advice, or experience is greatly appreciated.

I just put a rear rack on mine for commuting. Might want to start with that. Some P clamps and a special seat post rack adapter. It handles 2 full panniers just fine
