Day 19 Cycling from UK 🇬🇧 To Singapore 🇸🇬 Austria Border crossing!!!

Currently cycling from the UK 🇬🇧 To Singapore 🇸🇬, through central Europe and then following the Silk Road and Pamir Highway into China before heading down through South East Asia.

day 19 cycling from the UK to Singapore uh camped a pretty cool campsite last night 6os Euro beers in the fridge showers they had chickens gave him some eggs in the morning as well the people in the RV made me coffee in the morning you can’t really ask for much more um did rain most of the night though so kind of waited for the rain to stop this morning and wait for my tent to dry off there’s a bit of a late start I didn’t get out till about quarter 11 not far from the Austrian border so that’s going to be the end of Germany today as I get to the Border Town of pasu lovely scenery around here still next to the danu just through those trees there there’s a big castle on the hill over there all throughout Germany there’s been like these beautiful castles and palaces all like up in the mountains and the hills mostly surrounding the rivers as well it’s really beautiful country um yeah there’s the bike looking sexy I did adjust my handle bars today they were like set a little bit forward that way so I’ve put them back to like their original setting cuz my hands do hurt speaking to a German guy at the campsite who’s doing quite a lot of bite touring and he said maybe if I get a uh a stem Riser shorter stem it goes up at like a 45 degree angle to bring the handle bars closer to me that maybe that will help but we will have to see it’s not unbearable my hand was numb all last night though and even like my index finger was still a bit numb in the morning so we don’t want any nerve damage but we’ll continue to push through at the moment oh see at the border yet another petrol station stop they do these like little mini salami baguettes in Germany for like 2 which are pretty good not far from passu the border town now on a classic Coke just to give me a bit of sugar just to keep going yeah it’s pretty hot today bit humid as well but austral is on The Horizon [Music] baby [Music] [Applause] okay just stopped in passu so have a kebab have a good Kebab in Germany you know not the Donna like the fake meat the chicken like chicken thigh on the Donna Kebab it’s absolutely delicious uh I’m in pasu now so just about to cross over the border into Austria look at this gang of Porsches one 2 3 woo it’s a lot of money about2 million chesting cars loads of them beautiful there’s a lot more coming but you know kind stab all my videos of Porsches going past um yeah it’s a lovely town right on the danu it’s like that nice medieval castle game of throny style that a lot of Germany seems to be and you got all these big river cruise boats they go up and down the Danube and the Rind as well like Viking Cruisers it’s a lovely city it’s mad that you notice the change in the people as soon as you uh come into like a big city everyone gets more fashionable everyone looks a little bit more beautiful as well it’s crazy all these Porsches yeah okay just here on the danu and on the other side is Austria actually thought it was a bridge you didn’t even look at the map properly but it’s a water Ferry as you can see on that side so I presume we’ve just got to wait here till it comes over looks like it’s €2 I think it’s pretty cheap so yeah and then I’ll be in Austria country number four woo [Music] [Music] [Music] okay that’s it we’re in Austria feels exactly the same um same currency same language I’m sure it’s not going to be that much different I don’t really know what to expect from Austria I did so much research on like the east in Asia I didn’t really research that much of Europe so uh sure it’s full of nice views and pleasant surprises [Music] n [Music]
