Very happy to be the second owner of this near mint semi pro Miyata. Original owner hardly rode it, and the seller did an amazing job cleaning each part, rebuilding the hubs, bottom bracket, lower pivot point on the rear derailleur, and tensioned spokes. It’s like brand new.
Frame was also waxed/polished.
New tape, brake pads and hoods.
Saddle will be replaced but the Ideale is okay for now.
Only the tires needed to be replaced, having 28mm Continental Contacts that were a little dry.
The Ultradynamico Cava Race tires at 33.33mm fit with room and provide an amazing ride at 50psi. And they look great too.
Above all the geo on this frame I find to be the chefs kiss. My measurements are better suited for a shorter top tube relative to seat tube. Modern square road geometry just doesn’t vibe unless you want to run a stack of spacers to get your bars up. This frame measure 63×57.
I have bought and sold several makes of Japanese frames but this one is a keeper.
This will be a Sunday rider and will be on display inside.
