Thinking of upgrading my existing unbranded chainring to something higher-end. Came across this 49t Zen chainring that also comes with an EAI cog, but am unsure whether it’s authentic. I am looking at spending 150 CAD for both pieces. Also, what are other people’s experiences using second-hand chainrings – are they liable to pose issues?
Assuming the chainring is authentic, is this worth it?

From what it looks like, the chainring is in pretty good condition. If you can get them to lower the price, even better.
I’ve bought my Zen ring lightly used back in 2011 and have been using it since. They have gone to hell and back because my bike is all purpose, not a show bike. S75 are built to last.
