Most of what you’re showing in your screenshot is pretty serious singletrack. You wouldn’t necessarily die on your gravel bike, but Tahoe mountain bikers don’t mess around with their trails. Mixed into that maze of trails though are a handful of roads, mainly the “Fiberboard Freeway” (Forest Service Rd 73), which is a moral paved road that goes up the hills north of Tahoe City. This connects to many gravel and dirt roads and a lot of the single track that you see. Off the Fiberboad (name of the company that used to own/log some of the land), there’s the 06, which is a well graded gravel road that runs all the way to Truckee. Back in Tahoe City, you can also pedal around most of the trails that make up the Tahoe XC Nordic center. You can access these from either their lodge or North Tahoe High School. You can connect to single track and roads and up to the fiberboard from here as well.

If you’re willing to go north of Truckee, there’s a ton of roads around the three reservoirs of Boca, Prosser, and Stampede. From Stampede the roads continue all the way north to Loyalton. Look at the routes featured in the Truckee Gravel race on Saturday and follow some of those roads on Sunday

Get a good map at least downloaded on your phone. I use CalTopo and download the Forest Service map later for these areas.
