  1. I gave it a little hawk tuah and penetrating fluid and it popped right in with a lot of swearing and brute force.

    Start at the valve and squeeze both sides in with both hands. Work your hands around the wheel in opposite directions until you get to the final part of the tire bead, directly opposite from the valve. This gives you a couple mm extra to work with and has been a massive technique tip for me personally

  3. I got a Kool-Stop bead jack recently after seeing recommendations on Reddit, and have already used it. Very handy

    I learned to stretch the tire a bit when it’s partially on the rim, outward so that you are trying to make it longer , this allows the tire to have more give .
