I recently picked up a sweet ‘98 Dean Ti Castanza road bike and have been loving the ride. It sorely needed an upgrade of its components since it was rocking 9spd Dura Ace.
I went with the always reliable Shimano 105 11spd mechanical groupset and couldn’t be happier! I did the swap myself at home with a mismatch of tools and no stand. It rides like a beaut, shifts effortlessly, and I’m loving having the cables tucked away under the bar tape.
