Just bought mu first bike since I was a kid, its a state bike Co, 4130 single speed.
Ive assembled the handle bars, and seat. 2 problems so far.
1) when going into assembling the front tire, it doesnt go into the slots and is blocked by the front brake, tried separating them a bit to get enough space to slide the tire through but it isnt working
I imagine I have to loosen it, place the pure in, and tighten, am I correct? If so what do I loosen?
2) the sticker says I have to tighten the lock ring and cog…what are those? The rear wheel seems pretty tight already?

Lock ring is the notched silver ring in second photo, it’s very important as it keeps your cog from deciding it wants to be not attached to your bike mid ride.
If it feels fairly tight, and your LBS isn’t far I would suggest you ride over and ask them to check its tight. Probably cost a few dollars max. You need a specialized tool to tighten it.
For the break/tire, you can either deflate your front tire to get it in there or just kinda wiggle it in you’re not gonna break it. You can also remove the break with a hex key.
