Just got this trek antelope for pretty cheap, slapped some VO bars and a wald basket on the front. I’m wondering what I should do next, I’m thinking definitely a tire upgrade but not sure what else. How can I make this thing cooler? Open to any suggestions

Man I think you’ve got it already it’s sweet. Just ride the hell out of it, I actually the like unbranded tires
Forget making it cooler. It’s cool enough as is. If you want to make improvements, do something that will actually improve the bike for how you use it. Focus on ride quality and comfort while riding.
The biggest bang for your buck, if everything is already working well from a mechanical perspective, will be swapping out tires for a good quality set that match the type of riding you do with this bike. Based on your build, I’m guessing you’re mostly on pavement with only light dirt riding. I bet those current tires feel like dogs on pavement.
I would also never be able to get on with an overly padded saddle like that. If it works just fine for you, then leave it as is. But, the only other thing I’d need if the bars are already comfy for me is a saddle that I could spend a long, long day riding on without any numbness or discomfort. Saddles with heavy padding make me go numb in places I don’t want to go numb.
Pedal upgrade maybe?
ride it
The only improvement I could see is getting a rack that lowers that basket.
That basket is really high up and when loaded up I’m sure that doesn’t feel great to handle.
Lowering your basket/your weight will make it easier to handle when loaded up.
Tire, saddle and ride it
+1 for faster rolling tires with less tread and a more contemporary saddle that fits you well. Other than that maybe a [safety pizza](https://safetypizza.com/)?
Looks sorted to me, I think you could upgrade your pedals and tires if anything. I’d snap the dork disc off too, but that’s just for looks
With any new-to-me bike, it’s touch-points first imo: saddle (seat post too if positioning adjustments feel needed), bars/grips (you’ve got that sorted), pedals, and some nice rubber that suits the terrain you plan to ride most often 🙂
