I trying to decide what the better bike is. Apart from weight, the CF SLX being slightly lighter, it feels like the Movistar has the better gearing with more top speed (48/10 vs 52/11) and climbing (35/33 vs 36/30). Is weight the only pro for the slx or am I missing something?

I think it’s down to preference of SRAM or Shimano, and colour availability.
If you like Shimano, pick that, if you like SRAM pick that. I guess there is still $300 difference, if that matters, same for colors. I would personally pick SLX, I prefer Shimano and Black color. And for gears, what are you currently riding? Do you find you are missing high/low gears?

I think it’s not very easy getting value. My value is not the same as your value.
Are you riding crit races and gran fondos? Do you have friends that you want to flex on? Idk.
