I’ve wanted to do this cycle since I got my road bike last year

Round trip Gouda – Rotterdam

I just wanted to share my excitement of completing this return journey to Gouda and back with relative ease.

Almost 2 years ago I spent some time living in Gouda before settling in Rotterdam (I grew up nearby). Since getting my road bike last year I've wanted to do this cycle. It's around 28km one way, I've done plenty of 30-40km rides and now recently a couple 55-65km cycles. I didn't know where to go this morning so I decide to go to Gouda. Filled my bottles and packed two krentenbollen and a banana. Had an ice cream in Gouda before coming home.
If I can cycle more frequently during the week (outside of my commute) I think I will be fine doing this again and longer rides. And maybe also once I figure out what causes my left leg to hurt after awhile.
