back and watch them uh I think while I was gone our team went one win one loss so we are currently two wins two losses got the yellow ball and once again not going to understand any sledging today I don’t even have an average here at the moment I’ve made back to back 50s and you have to retire on 50 gentlemen it’s work out mate here we go so with the winter Cricket you bow five overs from each off the square anyway you’ll see the rest of the Clips in the Frog box um and wickets and then if I bow you’ll see all my bowling as well as the wickets that we get hopefully we get a win [Applause] had to they needed six and over for the last 15 overs so run a ball and yeah they kind of kept that going I don’t know how much of the footage you guys saw because the Frog box went down apparently um I think I bought like four overs first three were all right and then the last one was just all over the shop couple of w couple of boundaries just couldn’t get it right had one drop catch off my bowling but that’s right it’s not that wasn’t going to be the game winner anyway they beat us pretty comfortably in the end they just they had wickets in hand so they just came out and started swinging two of their BS got 50s you got to retire on 5050 so once they retire they just let two fresh batters come in and they were just too BL and just didn’t give a [ __ ] and they just started swinging out their ass and connected with a few and got done pretty quickly I think there might have been four overs left five five or four overs left when they got the win so yeah oh well when some lose some and then we’re going to move on that’s how it is that’s that’s what greatness is we don’t sit in it we’re worried about the next goal come back next week again and hopefully hopefully get a win I think we’re playing the top team next week um we’re back here so I’ve played four games uh no I’ve played three games and they’ve all been at our home ground and we’re here again next week so haven’t played at a different ground yet which is interesting but oh well I’m [ __ ] either way thanks for watching Fred

Was a tad annoying, even without the heading you were always going to fail with that attitude, you should be thinking you have to much talent at this level to fail, regardless of a couple of bad weeks with the willow.

Head uo brother! I was in a similar situation 2 Aussie summers ago. Made 0, 0 (got torched by my skipper) and 1 and thought cricket was the shittest thing on earth. Came out the next 2 weeks and made 2x 50 not outs 🙂
Yea definitely have to not open and bat lower in the order had plenty of time but you just wanted to score a boundary every 2nd ball and swing take your time 0 rush opening, your stance is too leg side of the ball, definitely need to move over stand halfway between middle and off

Get oput of your head and just enjoy hitting the ball – remember you do this for fun. The run and wickets will be back as soon as you relax again. Mind, easier said than done 🙂
When people talk about how tough it is to bat in the UK, I think the difference with you batting in England and in Australia sums it up perfectly.
No true bounce, loads of movement off the pitch and in the air.
If you think wickets in the south of England were bad, you should try batting on them in the north 😂
Tbh in a form slump like this …. When it takes you 9 or 10 balls to get off the mark you are always going to throw it away .
There is a lot to be said just for a little push and run just to get one on the board early . As an opener this is what I try and do first over . The goal is always turn the strike over twice in the first over . Fielding teams are always sort of flat footed in the first 3-4 balls because they expect it to be left or just played defensively.
The other issue you seem to be having watching your videos is you pick the wrong ball to try and access the on side with and will sky the ball , it just seems like you are playing on line alone and not paying attention to length . Ball 12 the ball you got out on was on maybe 5th stump line and slightly back of a length and you tried to access mid wicket / mid on area where you should have been looking to use the line and hit that over the top of cover or in the cover point region.

Keep going Bghetto. Maybe an idea for content could be a net session with a mate(s) trying to work on a few technical aspects of batting which you feel you may need to work on i.e hitting off the square. It could be good to discuss what areas you are looking to improve on and run through how you aim to address them. Just an idea but Hey 😅
