Non foreign object puncture flats are hardly ever about the tube. Most of the time they’re caused by damaged or off center or missing rim strips, damaged or worn tires, poor installation technique, or too much or little pressure.
I have a bike which has been set up fixed but isn’t right now. I commuted fixed for years but just don’t find it practical in my life anymore.

Nice ride!! I rode fixed for a couple of years but found that rides over 30km just weren’t as nice, been a single speeder ever since!

I wanna get back into riding fixed, gonna build up a. Tracklocross bike to do some off road shenanigans. However I think I’ll also place a flip flop hub so if I get sick of it I can change.
Here in Japan you have to have both a front and a rear brake unless you are on the track so there is no one really doing the whole fixie no brakes lifestyle anyway

Seems like a fun way to snap your leg in half when you hit upon some rough terrain
