  1. You can pretty easily fashion a spanner to put that back on. Even a set of needle nose pliers will help you replace it.. Blue loctite is your friend.

    They had a batch or three of these they didn’t use locktite on. I lost mine a couple times and then lost it For good. New part is cheap but you will have to order it. Just hang onto the cap until you can locktite it and install properly.

  5. Mine popped off last month. Thankfully, I found it on the pavement. My LBS re-installed it free. I think it’s reverse threaded and they have the special spanner. Guy at the LBS said, “those always come off”.

  6. I have a growing collection of these just from finding them on the trails. Been hoping to see someone who was missing theirs and get some karma irl but that hasn’t happened yet.
