Bought this chineese steel frame to use mtb parts I had laying around(brakes, wheels, crank). Ended up buying some 12 speed groupset, a carbon fork and a carbon bar. Rides pretty good on 27.5×1.95 tires, might try to put some 2.1 on it. It's a blast to ride, really confortable and it handles my big boy body like it's nobody's buisness.

How much did you end up spending? It’s a sick looking bike
Sexy
As long as you don’t lose any teeth I say it’s a win!
I have those squishy Zoom posts on an older carbon stumpy. Dig ’em. The junk seats, not so much.
I’d have put some name brand tires on it
Hey, I haven’t seen a set of modded XTR 960s in a bit. Not as clean as a Jones mod, but worth doing.
Toseek fork, nice choice as they can take a beating and mine have been in service for years.
Just put that exact fork on my bike. It’s like a different bike now versus the heavy coil fork that was on it before

I still can’t believe how many people are dubious of AliExpress. I only really started shopping there a year or so ago. But holy fuck it is an absolute gold mine for parts if you know what you’re doing. Is there a metric shitton of garbage on there? Absolutely. But if you know what brands and types of parts to get, it feels like stealing. In the past year I’ve probably ordered around 100 different items, and 98% of them have been stellar value.
Aliexpress for the WIN!
