They are absolutely cool but, unless it is a model that can run fatter tires (which many can I think), they are obsolete IMO. I just would never consider buying one that couldn’t run 38/40mm tires (at least). And I am not educated enough to know which models can.

Smart use of a nice, presumably 130BCD crankset. What’s the frame?
If I’m going to be nitpicky, the caliper brakes and lack of rack mounts probably classify this more as a sport-tourer or an audax bike than a full-on touring bike
