Wanted to replace my front derailleur cable since it was frayed. Removed the old cable and was able to see the hole and run the cable through the shifter no issues. After setting everything up i wanted to test the shifting. I was able to shift up once but could not shift to the third crank. Shifted down and now i am unable to shift up at all. Was going to start over but now i cant even remove the cable from the shifter. The piece that allows the cable head to sit on is out of place and will not budge even with force. Shifter is shimano 105

If the shifter is actuated without tension on the cable it can get unseated from where it should be, try pulling some tension on the cable then shifting it back to the bottom position
