Someone made a post asking about rack advice. Here’s my opinion on RM. This is the best rack I’ve ever had a chance to carry my bike on. It is rock solid and does not rattle in the hitch. Bike still moves slightly at highway speeds. But barely. And I can wiggle my whole car by pushing and pulling on the rack. It’s al metal parts. No plastic at all. It looks great and it’s short/low when it’s not in use. So it doesn’t block the tail lights. Very easy to use and provided security chain is thick enough to tow a vehicle with it. Makes me feel safe leaving the bike on the rack when I go to the store. Ive used other racks too. Had Kuat Transfer. It was good. But would rattle a bit. OneUp while solid, looks little clunky and “industrial”. I also read that it has to be lubricated after the rain.

  1. My personal favorite rack is the Thule T2 Pro XTR. it is also rock solid, but it has the ability to fold vertically when no bikes are on it, so it has a tiny bit of vertical play.
