I don’t believe the video is true because this is a very inefficient way of disciplining a soldier. The ground has been frozen in southern Ukraine for a few weeks now. Also note that anybody working in the cold would overheat digging or filling in a trench while wearing body armor and multiple layers of clothing.

are Ukrainian soldiers being buried alive for refusing to fight I can’t I can’t but the video in my analysis is available for free on my sub stack in the video two soldiers are filling in a trench and they roll something into that trench that looks like a person while making fun of them for not defending the motherland I don’t know authentic for a few reasons I asked 20 years as an infantryman let me tell you this soldiers are lazy if we have to execute someone we’re going to find the most efficient way of doing it we ain’t digging no hole second if you’ve ever had to dig or fill in a trench or do any kind of work in the cold you are not dressed like this body armor heavy coat you would overheat in about five minutes this is why Elite marathon runners like China’s Qi are barely wearing anything you overheat very quickly when doing physical labor finally the footage isn’t matching up with the climate it’s been freezing in Southeastern Ukraine for a few weeks now which would make digging through frozen ground to bury someone alive a really inefficient use of calories if you want to learn more the link is in the pin comments below

Not just this video, but generally your arguments are always rational. What if the ppl you are analyzing are not as rational? People including army generals can be irrational sometimes and make stupid mistakes.
Well reason why they are losing is their fighters are dumb or not trained and lacks morale.

Only reason the infantryman digs a hole is bc no one has invented a better way to dodge bullets and Artillery.
If someone was being executed for cowardice the engineers would dig the hole with their machines not by hand

if you look on YouTube there are videos of people being hunted on the street like in Russia to be taken into the army… and in areas like Cenauti and the Carpathian mountains there are Romanian and Hungarian minorities who don't want to fight… and in a lot of rubbish happens in the military environment… it's possible that it just scared him… but he doesn't think that Ukrainians are knights on white horses… at the individual level there are no differences in education or civilization with Russians… just little evolution..

The lesson of disinformation is that if any news of this war that is very hyperbolic or over the top like this, its a russian bot.
I find it morbidly amusing that the first reason Ryan mentioned is not anything to do with morality. It's that burying a guy alive is waaaay too much BS to bother with.
It would be far more believeable if the guy was in an already dug trench and the guys were so bored they decided to prank him. Now that's motivation to bury someone alive.
