Just have a good rationale, have an example of two of comps. Essentially be knowledgeable and respectful and see how it goes. Like everything, if there are 10 similar cheaper bikes nearby you have leverage. If there’s nothing within a couple hours drive and you need the bike this weekend, seller does!

Color scheme identifies it as a Defy Advanced 2, model year 2020. Msrp in 2020 was $2450.
Even if the computer and pedals are coming with it, it’s overpriced at $2400. $1800 is more like it, if it’s near mint condition and the accessories are included.

The way it is described sounds like the person has no clue about bikes. Probally a pain to deal with

$1500 seems like a good offer to start with to try and meet in the middle on especially with those pr2 stock wheels which are bombproof but meh. I have a defy. It’s a great bike! This asking price is too high for a four year old bike.
