Race Highlights Stage 4 – Tour de Suisse Women 2024

The dominant rider of this year’s Tour de Suisse Women, Demi Vollering (Team SD Worx – Protime), also claimed victory on the final stage. The Dutchwoman took three of the four stages. It was a thrilling duel for second place.

[Music] he [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] right w [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] he [Music] [Applause] [Music] a [Music] [Music] [Music] I [Music] [Music] [Music] D following what an impressive finish of the tour from you three wins in four days how was that possible H I don’t know uh today I didn’t expect that but uh yeah it was really nice to Sprint again I didn’t do that for a long time for my feeling and I really like to to Sprint uh in a final like this I really like that so uh it was nice really nice battle also with the girls uh in front was a really strong battle you were the best racer by Rider by far um you win the GC quite kind of easily looks like how what this does it mean to you to wi this to the it’s really nice also because it’s kind of a home race of course so uh I’m really happy that I could win this race and uh yeah they’re really nice stages so it’s also a good feeling ready for towards the to the front because we also have there a lot of climbing so uh it’s always good to win climbing races before your big goal but the way you are you won these stages and also the cheesy um was so impressive how are you surprised also a little bit how much better you are than the rest like today I could really uh Gamble uh it was not up to my to me so it’s actually a really easy position for me uh it was today so yeah I mean that first group what was going out was uh yeah we were a bit surprised that little track was not starting to work earlier but um once they did it was nice and uh I mean it was really happy that all the girls came back from the from the from the back back they really fight hard today to to be there for me and uh that’s really nice to see and I’m also really thankful for them to really keep pushing and fighting to to the very end you were talking about your other goals what is the biggest one this year for you yeah for me the biggest one of course is to the France but also before we have already the Olympics and that’s always really special and then uh yeah after those two we have the the world championships in uh in Switzerland so it will be really nice to to finish the season a little bit off with a a nice Crown there and your shape is perfect right now yeah and now I need to run because at 7 I fly because tomorrow is the championship time trial who knows we can do there but I don’t know if I make the flight so let’s first try that first thank you very much
