I started at 7 am and ascended a total of 12,000 feet over 60 miles to the summit of Mount Blue Sky (Mt Evans). I had a 27lb backpack with extra battery, 7 liters of sports drinks, food, layers, micro spikes (emergency use). I used 2x 500 watt hour batteries on Bosch CX “touring mode” and “eco mode” pedal assist until about 13,000 feet when the both batteries were dead- human power after that up to 14,125 feet.
There was another 60 miles of intense descending (at roughly 25-40 mph) until arriving home at 10pm.
Total route was 120 miles and 15 hours (10 hours in the saddle).
